However, i was notified on several occasions with regards to clients utilizing the services of loan companies to search for mortgage companies for refinancing purposes. According to the secretary of state for delaware; a notary can attest the person(s)signture for the loan company to begin their search as long as the person(s) understand the document they are having notarized. When i became a member of the nna back in 2007, i took the certification for a signing agent to better understand the rules, laws and its expectations for future knowledge. Laws change daily and with the rising demand of loans and housing; my hopes that the laws will change to benefit and permit notaries in states that forbid signings of real propety to allow it. But until then i plan to stay active on my certifications. Thank you for your understanding.
